Booze and Late Nights // Aoifee & Davy

Aoife smirks and starts to giggle. ” YOUR FACE! OH MY GOD! PRICELESS! calm DOWN OH TM GOD ” She starts to Laugh. Aoife cups her hands on his face, ” You’re fine, Davy. ” She cared about him, too. With the pills and the coke, he was at a all time low, and Aoife was scared. She wondered if Davy felt the same way about Aoife and alcohol. Suddenly, the next thing, Aoife’s lips crashed onto Davy’s. It was a total drunk move! Smooth. Aoife.

Davy rolled his eyes at Aoife. “Whatever.” He muttered to himself quietly, barely audible. Just as he was going to speak, a pair of lips crashed down to his. His eyes shot open, only to be greeted by the sight of his friend. It was the last thing he expected, really. He knows what alcohol does to her, he blamed himself for letting her have too much but now, the alcohol was clouding his judgement. He wasn’t in any control of his actions. He definitely didn’t know why he kissed her back and pulled the dark haired girl closer to him.

Aoife stops smiling and her eyes get a little larger. Her cheeks, bright red as before. ” Erm.. I don’t know, why are you asking? ” Her thumbs start to fridget. Shit, shit shit, he knew. Oh god, she keeps thinking. Aoife nervously drinks some more Brandy. ” Why you so into my love life, Davykins? ”

Davy smirked at her reaction, maybe his guess was right after all. But he decided it was better for her not to know that he knows, it’s much more fun that way. “Nothing, I was just curious.” He said, shrugging. He scoffed and took a few sips from his vodka. “In love with you? Please.” His alter ego was starting to show. Who is better known as Sasha Fierce. He draped his arm over her shoulder and turned to her. “Well, you’re pretty hot. I can’t lie about that.”

Aoife smirks, ” Hey, how do you think I get the D? ” She drunkenly giggles and takes Davy’s hand and pulls him to the couch. ” Siitttt with me! ” she slurs. Yup, drunk. Aoife grabbed her Brandy and started to save a couple more sips. Wait a minute, Davy recognized her face was blushing at the name ” Harry ” Shit, did he find out? Whatever.

Davy laughed and shook his head at Aoife. “I don’t need to know that.” He fell down on the couch next to her and chuckled. She definitely has power but he wasn’t going to let her know that. The only guy he would love to see whipped by Aoife is probably Harry Styles, knowing that he obviously has a crush on her. Come to think of it, why did she blushed he started to talk about Styles? He smirked to himself when he thought of a plan to embarrass her even further. “So, how is Harold doing?”

aoife-effie:

Aoife’s Cheeks turn bright red, She wasn’t dating Harry, but she had a big crush on him. She nods quickly and opens her Brandy. ” Oh course I won’t tell.” She puts the bottle to her lips and drinks the alcohol. After collapsing on the couch, a little tipsy now, she motions a dancing Davy over. ” H-hey babe. Sit with meeee ” She slurs, ” YOU’RE HOT ! ” Aoife squeals, her breath hinted with Brandy. She may have had some sips of Vodka before she came, but a girl never tells.

Davy raised an eyebrow and collapsed beside the girl. “Why are your cheeks red? You look like one of those fruits that people eat, you know. That can be made as sauce or whatever.” He commented, shifting her face from side to side while inspecting her face. He shrugged and took a swing from his bottle, setting it down to the coffee table in front of him. “Tell me something I don’t know.” He turned towards her and checked her out from head to toe. “You don’t look so bad yourself. Playing the guitar has been good for you, yeah?”

Booze and Late Nights // Aoifee & Davy

Davy sighed as he continued to stare into space while occasionally taking a swing from his bottle. Today wasn’t one of those ‘good days’ for him, it was the exact opposite in fact. Maybe all the pill popping had finally gotten into his head. And the coke probably wasn’t a good idea either. He ran his hand through his hair in frustration and leaned back further into his chair. After a few minutes of boredom, he finally got an idea. He got up and walked over to his radio, turning it on. He looked for the music channel and out came one of the songs that has been haunting him since the day it came out; Live While We’re Young. He wasn’t one to listen to One Direction’s songs or any songs of the genre but he couldn’t care less right now. “Hey girl I’m waiting on ya, I’m waiting on ya. Come on and let me sneak you out!” He belted out while spinning out of control. When he heard the sound of the door creaked open, his head snapped into the direction of the noise. “Hey, Aoife. Don’t tell anyone but I’m listening to Harold singing. Shhh.”

Mary scoffed a bit, pushing him lightly to make him stumble a bit. “Shut up, they’re creepy okay? And gross too.” She admitted, her cheeks going a bit pink as she confessed one of her fears. She knew it wasn’t that big of a deal to most people, but to her showing weakness to other people bothered her. She was afraid that one day if people found out something big, they would hold it against her. “Please, don’t tell anyone. Okay? I know I wouldn’t hear the end of it from Logan if he found out..” Mary rolled her eyes at the thought of Logan, he’d usually harassed her anyways. But playfully though, which was okay, she supposed. She looked around a bit, then poked Davy’s side. “Where are we going exactly?” Mary asked zipping her jacket up a bit more because of the chilly weather outside. Her thoughts began to go back to her father, who was probably laying in a hospital bed, wondering where his rock star daughter was. In all honesty, she was scared to go and see him. She knew what would happen if she did, it happened every time they would be in a room together. Her father wasn’t very big on the whole ‘life of fame’ type deal. And most definitely wasn’t fond of his daughter strutting around on a stage, infront of millions of people in what he’d like to describe as ‘A street-walker’s outfit.’ Which, Mary could understand where’d he get that idea from, seeing that she almost barely wore anything except for the usual black tanks and fish net leggings, or ripped leggings. But every chance her father could get he would try and talk her out of what she loved doing. It always ended up in Mary and her father extremely pissed off at each other, and it took months for them to speak to each other again. That’s when something hit Mary straight in the face, and she snapped her blank gaze to Davy who once again looked sad, depressed and lonely… “Hey Dav, how’s your parents doing? I haven’t seen them in a long time.”

Davy laughed and shook his head. It seems like he found one of Mary’s ‘fears’. Now he has something to use against her when she blackmails him. He smirked at the thought. When she mentioned Logan’s name, a plan formed in his head. “Looks like i have a phone call to make.” He said, smirking to her. The look on her face was priceless. It was a mix of pure horror and fear, he couldn’t help but to laugh. It was rare to see Mary afraid of him like that, well, she wasn’t exactly afraid of him but he’ll take what he can get. He took out a small box out of his pants pocket and pulled out a cigarette, along with the lighter. He offered her a piece and lit his own, putting it to his lips and inhaling both the bitter and sweet taste. He promised himself to never smoke again but he can’t help it, it releases his tension. From now on, he didn’t want to make promises he can’t keep. He’ll end up disappointing everyone and himself even more than he already has. He exhaled the smoke by curving his mouth into a perfect ‘O’ shape and creating ‘smoke circles’. He shrugged and continued to walk as he kicked the small pebbles on the street. “We’ll go wherever our feet or the street takes us. It’s the beauty of all this.” He inhaled once more and sighed, letting the smoke out of his system once more. Even though how hard he tried, his thought always seem to go back to his parents. Saying that he missed them was an understatement. If he could rewind back time, he would but he can’t. He made his choice and he had to face the consequences. He had never lived in a quite stable house hold. His mum and dad was always away on ‘business trips’ and he was left being cared for by his nannies. He never believed in love, he believes it was only an illusion. Who could blame him? He was always left alone. His parents were always too busy cheating on each other to even acknowledge his presence. He was just a mistake, that was all he is and all he’s ever going to be. He’s too fucked up. He was losing his mind, he was losing control over his own life. The drugs were taking over him, it was overpowering him. His mind went into overdrive, thinking of every possible response he could give her but instead, he just shrugged once again, like he doesn’t have a care in the world. “I wouldn’t know.” He said, inhaling into his cigarette once again. “They’re dead.” Once those words left his mouth, he swore he could hear a large cracking noise from where his heart should be. It was broken. Hell, it’s always been broken but now, it’s too late. He’s broken. Always and forever.

“I think we all have a secret obsession of the Bieb’s. Mary insisted, still singing along quietly watching Davy have a good time. She glared playfully at Davy as he drunk some vodka from her bottle, but laughed it off. He did buy it for himself after all. Her tummy growled again, louder this time and she laughed a bit embarrassed. “Would you mind going with me?” She asked hopefully, pouting her bottom lip out. Out of random, she started swaying around the room again along with Justin’s voice. She had to admit, she really loved the new Bieber. Out of the corner of her eye on a bookshelf, she saw something small, and black, and insect like. A spider… “DAVY!”

Davy chuckled a bit and ran his hand through his messy hair. It was a good thing that Mary came over that day, not that she knew of course. If it wasn’t for her, he would’ve exploded. She was right, burying all his feelings inside isn’t a good thing. He was on the verge of breaking down and nothing was able to pull him back up. He doubts he would go back to who he was before, his life was over. Even though he promised Mary he was done with coke, he wasn’t. He still has a stash hidden inside his flat and he isn’t looking to confess about it any time soon. He wasn’t addicted to it, he could stop when he wants to but he’s just afraid that in time, it’ll overtake him. He nodded and walked towards the door, opening it over her. “Come on.” When she called him, his head immediately snapped up, looking to her. He saw that she was afraid of a spider. He couldn’t help but to laugh. He grabbed a piece of tissue and grabbed the spider with it. He threw the rumple of tissue on the trash and walked back to the door, Mary following behind him. “Mary Century’s afraid of a spider? Who would’ve guessed?”

Mary stood there for a moment longer, just being in his embrace felt safe to her. Like the two of them had this type of friendship no one else could have. But even though she could hug her good friend forever, he was most likely getting impatient with her so she slowly let her arms unlatch from around him and they fell slowly to her sides. She took a couple of steps back, smiling at the possible gleam that had formed in his eyes. “And I’m always here for you too, Davy.” Poking his cheek once again, because she just thought it was funny. She listened to the next song start playing, and laughed when Justin Bieber’s voice sounded through the kitchen. The newest song by him, As Long As You Love Me. She giggled a bit watching Davy’s expression, “As long as you la la la la, lalala, lalalala-love me!” Of course, for a brief moment her mind whirled around the thought of Davy and Cara. She was still, extremely confused as to why Davy hadn’t made a move on her yet. Usually, if he likes a girl he gets them one way or another. And, Mary knew for a fact that Cara definitely liked him back. Her drunken state of mind spilled the beans the night before at the pub, and Mary was scared because she wanted to tell him. But what if Cara didn’t want him to know just yet? Before she could ask another question that could ruin the happy moment, Mary’s stomach growled angrily and her eyes widened. “Oh, boy.”

Davy smiled to her and continued dancing. This was the most fun he’d had in the week. These days, he would be cooped up in his flat watching sappy romance movies while eating chocolate. It may sounds like he’s PMS-ing but he couldn’t care less. He needed something to get his mind off of things. At the rate he’s going, he knows that it isn’t good for his health but it wasn’t his priority as of the moment. He’s here to have fun and let loose, he couldn’t care less about what will happen to him. It’s all about living. He laughed again as Mary sang along to the Justin Bieber song. “I’ll be your soldier. Fighting every second of the day for your dreams, girl. You can be my Destiny’s child on the scene girl. So don’t stress, don’t cry, we don’t need no wings to fly. Just take my hand.” He sang, spinning around his living room while laughing. “I have no excuse on my i remember the lyrics to a Bieber song, it’s catchy and it’s on in every station.” He said with a shrug. He walked back to the counter and sat on it again. He took her vodka bottle and took a drink from it, drowning all of his sorrows and worries away. He wanted to talk to Cara again to make things right but he never had the chance to. But when he does, he always messes it up. It frustrates him, thinking that he couldn’t do anything right. He broke out of his trance when he heard the sound of Mary’s stomach growling and he chuckled a bit. He got off the counter and walked towards her. “Want to go out to get some food or…?”

Mary laughed lightly, nodding in thanks. “You too, you know how to work your hips.” She mimicked his hips thrusts in a mocking kind of way, but she wasn’t kidding. He could really give Shakira a run for her money. Taking a moment of rest, Mary walked to the counter taking another sip from the bottle. It was nights like this that she absolutely loved, not having to worry about every little thing that could be happening. She laughed again, watching him dance and look genuinely happy. But she couldn’t help to wonder if it was just a show like she’d been doing. Out of no where, she quickly wrapped her arms around Davy’s waist tightly, squeezing him in a hug. “Thanks for letting me come over, Dav’s. I really needed this.”

Davy laughed at himself and thrust his hips in a joking matter. “My hips don’t like bitches!” He said, smiling to himself. For once, his smile was genuine. It wasn’t fake, it was real. It’s been a while since he smiled, Mary coming over was the highlight of his day so far. Recently, his days have been all about wallowing in self pity and eating his feelings. Even though he had ‘confessed’ about what happened to Cara, it wasn’t enough. He promised he’d go to the funeral but he didn’t. He couldn’t handle it. The pain, the agony, the anger, the sadness, everything. He couldn’t bring himself to even look at a photo of them, it made him feel like he messed up all over again. They tried to contact him numerous times. If he only answered one of those calls, maybe it’ll all be different. He had lived life having many regrets but this one is the one he’ll never forget, the one he’ll bring to his grave. The one which he hope he’ll let go. Davy was slightly startled when Mary hugged him, of course, he hugged back. It was all that he needed, a hug. It made him feel okay, like he matters to someone. “No problem. I’m always here for you, Mary.”

“Same for me, as well.” She grinned at him over the stereo, and clicked the ‘Next’ button once more until her eyes snapped to the speakers as she listened to the song that had started playing. The beat was a catchy one, and she could already feel herself smirking to nothing in particular as her hips moved along to the beat. It was Sail by AWOLNATION; one of her favorites. It was kind of like rock music, only by a little bit. But mainly it was a techno, dubstep type music. “Have you heard this before?” She asked excitedly, sliding on her socks away from the stereo to dance around the kitchen. Mary knew she must have looked quite happy, a care free girl who had no sort of troubles in her life as she sang along to the lyrics. She only wished that it was that way in reality. “Born that way you say, interesting.” Mary caught eye contact with Davy for a brief second before she spun around again, every move she made went exactly along to the beat. Music; it was something she was thankful it existed. Without it, she most likely wouldn’t be in this kitchen right now. Hell, without it she most likely wouldn’t even be on this planet anymore. As the chorus of the song began, she spun around to her friend to catch a glimpse of hurt within his eyes. She didn’t show it facial wise, but she was then worried. This was something that made her and Davy such good friends, they were both here to keep everyone else happy even if they were breaking. But she felt like she needed to help him in some way possible, she hated seeing him like this. Taking a couple of steps toward him, she held out her hand to him with a sly smile. “Would you like do dance?”

Davy nodded and tapped her fingers on the counter again, trying to imitate the beat of the music. “A few times, yeah.” He watched her as she moved and danced to the music. He chuckled a bit and shook his head. He always admired Mary, not that he would ever admit it. But even though how hard she tried to hide it, he can always see through her. She was hurting inside, something was really bothering her but he decided to not push it. He figure she’ll spill when she’s ready. But in the mean time, he might as well enjoy the sight of her like this. When she held her hand out to him, he raised his eye brow to her. “I might as well join you.” He got off the counter with the shrug and started dancing to the music. As time went, the music overtook him. His thoughts were invaded, he didn’t have a care in the world. For once, he wasn’t thinking about yesterday or tomorrow. He was just living in the moment. “Nice moves.” He said, chuckling.
